WORKSHOP: Curriculum – Mapping, Guides, Budget, Realignment, Parent Guides

Jennifer Conrad
With almost 20 years in middle grades education, Jennifer earned her Undergraduate and Master’s Degree from Berry College in Rome, Georgia in Middle Grades Education. She completed her Gifted Certification at Kennesaw State University and earned her Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Arkansas. She began her career at the Darlington Schools in Rome, Georgia before moving to the Walker School in Marietta. She has served as a classroom teacher, Technology Integration Specialist, Academic Dean, Curriculum Coordinator, and Division Head. Jennifer has a passion for education and has visited schools in London England, Tokyo Japan, Akito Japan, and the Gold Coast of Australia. She currently resides in Davidson NC and serves as the K-8 Director at the Woodlawn School.

This workshop will focus on the mapping process emphasizing backwards design. We will discuss the creation of a living document and a plan for ongoing revision. Ideas will be shared for presenting this information with your school community.
