Loveday Summer Study Grants for GISA Teachers
The Georgia Independent School Association in cooperation with the Fred H. Loveday Endowment Foundation announces the 2026 Loveday Summer Study Grants for GISA Teachers.
The Loveday Summer Study Grants for GISA Teachers provide financial support for member school educators seeking professional learning opportunities that enhance their teaching skills and subject-area expertise. These grants enable teachers to attend workshops, conferences, or specialized courses directly related to their classroom instruction. The grant is not intended for college degree courses (e.g., master’s or doctoral studies) but rather for targeted professional development that enriches teaching practices and benefits students.

Following receipt of online applications, members of the GISA Teacher Services Committee will review all requests. Based on the approved criteria, the value of the study, financial need, and following directions correctly, the committee will select the recipients of the grants. Recipients and Heads of School will be notified soon thereafter, and payments will be issued.
We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Fred H. Loveday Endowment Foundation Board for their stewardship of this fund, to the GISA Member Schools for their donations, and to the GISA Teacher Services Committee for volunteering their time and expertise in the selection process.
